Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PalmPuffin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including associates and managers who access PalmPuffin for schedule self-service.
2. Description of Service
PalmPuffin provides mobile schedule self-service for retail associates and hourly workers. Our platform enables schedule viewing, availability management, time-off requests, open shift pickup, and shift swaps. PalmPuffin works as a companion to PlannerPuffin, the manager-facing workforce optimization platform.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Subscription and Billing
PalmPuffin is offered as part of your employer's subscription to the Puffin Ecosystem workforce management suite. Individual associates do not pay for PalmPuffin access directly. Employer billing terms are governed by a separate enterprise agreement.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use PalmPuffin only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use our services to submit fraudulent time-off requests, manipulate scheduling data, or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or your employer's policies.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of PalmPuffin, including our scheduling algorithms, user interface, and documentation, are owned by PalmPuffin and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of PalmPuffin is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
PalmPuffin provides schedule self-service tools but does not make scheduling decisions. Your employer is responsible for schedule creation, approval decisions, and labor law compliance. Our liability is limited to the amount your employer paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to PalmPuffin if you violate these terms. Your employer may also revoke your access. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though we will retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of PalmPuffin after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
